Private Hospital Senior Registered Nurse

Located on the Middlesex and Hertfordshire border, our client is an acute care unit specialising in Oncology and Orthopaedics and a member of one of the UK’s largest private hospital groups.

This hospital is a mid-sized and busy hospital with 40+ beds and 3 theatres and they are currently looking for a part time Senior Registered Nurse to join their team of staff (22.5 hours a week on a flexible shift pattern).

The role

This role requires you to ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures as well as to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. You will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and consultants acting as an advocate to more junior members of the team and, where appropriate, deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse and the lead on clinical shifts.

The ideal applicant will have RGN level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing Studies, evidence of relevant clinical professional development, a mentorship qualification and previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector (contact us for a full job description).
